The British Shitoryu Karate Association

The British Shito-Ryu Karate Association was set up in 1974

by the current Chief Instructor and Chairman, Prof. Dr. Roger Mills, 8th Dan

and is a not-for-profit organisation that is managed by an Executive Committee

In keeping with traditional karate principles, the technical standards of the

Association are directed by the Technical Committee.

At least once a year a meeting of all B.S.K.A. black belts is held for purposes

of ensuring that there is an appropriate forum for communication between the

membership, club instructors and the Association's Technical and Executive Committees.
